As we continue to grow through our Go-Global initiative and strategic partnerships, we are looking for talented individuals to join us in shaping the future of regulatory compliance and delivering innovative solutions to our clients.
- In this position, you will be based in our Vienna development center and take responsibility for leading our engineering teams across locations.
- You will work closely with our CTO, Technical Backend Lead, Technical Frontend Lead, Product Management, and other key stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery, quality, and alignment across teams.
- You will lead our Backend and Frontend engineering teams globally, ensuring unified standards, strong collaboration, and reliable execution.
- You will work in tandem with our Solution Architect, forming a dual leadership structure that combines architectural ownership with people, resource, and delivery leadership.
- This role combines people leadership, resource management, and hands-on prioritization. You will actively shape how work is planned and delivered by understanding your team’s strengths, development areas, and capacity constraints, and allocating talent accordingly.

Qualifikationen
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a comparable technical leadership role
- Strong experience in people management, coaching, and performance development
- Experience leading Backend and Frontend teams in a SaaS or distributed systems environment
- Solid track record in resource allocation and managing delivery in dynamic environments
- Ability to shift priorities pragmatically in response to changing requirements
- Experience working with distributed or cross-border engineering teams
- High level of intercultural competence
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Clear communication style and strong stakeholder management skills
- High sense of ownership and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience scaling engineering teams or growing engineering organizations
- Background as a software engineer (backend, frontend, or full stack)
- Experience working closely with product and design teams

Delivery & Coordination
- Provide guidance in prioritization and delivery planning
- Coordinate closely with technical leads, Product Management, and QA
- Ensure transparency in planning, commitments, and delivery progress
- Identify and resolve delivery or collaboration challenges early
Decision-Making & Governance
- Make data- and information-driven decisions based on delivery metrics and performance indicators
- Use structured reporting to guide prioritization, planning, and execution
- Occasional business travel within Europe and to other company locations (less than 20% annually)
