Deine Rolle im Team
- Under the guidance of our interdisciplinary team, you will support the design, implementation, integration and evaluation of Software Defined Networking (SDN) techniques for Quantum Key Distribution Networks (QKDN).
- With your support, we will extend our innovative framework composed of a python backend and a WebUI frontend, shaping the future of a European initiative to strengthen Quantum Cryptography Networks.
- You will learn about a variety of technology stacks from backend to fronted in the context of cryptographic applications.
- You support us in our international projects and get exciting insights into our technological environment.
- You will gain experience in the development and use of cryptography in current and future applications.
- You will have not only the opportunity to discuss your work experiences and results with experienced scientific peers, but also to connect with other bachelor’s, master’s or PhD students.
- You will gain practical experience with one of the leading research companies in Austria and our industry grade development processes.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- You are studying in the field of informatics, computer science, mathematics or similar.
- You are at the end of your Bachelor’s study or you are already enrolled in your Master’s studies.
- You have good knowledge of object-oriented Python and, web front-end technologies like JavaScript, CSS and React.
- Basic understanding of Network technologies like https REST APIs.
- Knowledge in cryptography and graph theory are a plus.
- Interest to work in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate on different topics.
- Good verbal and written English skills (team language is English), German skills would be a plus.
