- As part of the route control product development team, you are responsible for ensuring a high quality and secure Cloud platform for our next generation digital interlocking system.
- Together with our Tester, DevOps and Security experts you are shaping the Test Strategy, Design, Execution with automation-first leveraging state-of the-art cloud technologies and testing tools.
- Develop and execute detailed test cases, and test scripts based on system requirements and design specifications.
- Reporting of found bugs in a ticket system and performing first level analysis.
- Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test specifications and test reports.
- Test automation in a test automation tool.
- Collaboration with other teams (development, data preparation)
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- Technical education, preferably a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Qualifikationen
- Knowledge of safety-critical systems, especially railway signaling systems, is considered an advantage.
- Ability to work with virtual machines and cloud-based test environments to support system integration, verification, and testing activities.
- Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, Java).
- Linux knowledge and basic bash scripting skills.
- Enthusiasm for working in an agile team environment.
- Good knowledge of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
- Ability and willingness to work in a laboratory environment when required.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification is considered an advantage.
- Fluent in English and a good command of German.
Erfahrung
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in industrial sectors such as automotive, telecommunications, or process control.
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Experience in AI-based tools to support work tasks (Copilot).
