    Deine Rolle im Team

    • As a DevOps Engineer, you will support developers with infrastructure architecture, assist in performance testing, optimisation, application sizing and production releases, maintain monitoring using Prometheus and OpenTelemetry, contribute to cloud migration initiatives and participate in on-call rotations.
    • The role focuses on analysing and investigating production incidents, correlating logs from systems such as Apache and Tomcat using tools like Kibana and CloudWatch, and identifying root causes across distributed solutions.
    • You will work daily with AWS services (EKS, RDS, EC2, ALB, SG), Kubernetes, Helm, Docker and LXC, as well as Kafka, Cassandra and relational databases.
    • Analyse and investigate incidents on a technical level in cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
    • Support developers in infrastructure architecture topics.
    • Inspect and analyse logs (Apache, Tomcat, custom) and correlate information using Kibana and CloudWatch.
    • Determine root causes of issues by understanding the full solution context.
    • Support performance testing and analyse results for optimisation of software and infrastructure.
    • Support application sizing and releases from test environments to production.
    • Create and maintain operational documentation.
    • Participate in migration from on-premise infrastructure to public cloud.
    • Set up and maintain application monitoring for Service Desk teams (Kibana, Prometheus, Grafonnet, OpenTelemetry).
    • Investigate and suggest infrastructure improvements based on new technologies.
    • Provide on-call support in rotation.

    • Proficient in English.

    • Relational databases and SQL queries.
    • AWS (EKS, RDS, ALB, EC2, SG and other services).

    • Docker.
    • LXC.
    • Understanding of Java application servers / standalone Java basic configuration.
    • HTTP/HTTPS and RESTful API (JSON).
    • Messaging services (MQ, AQ, JMS).
    • Infrastructure as code principle.
    • Code versioning.
    • GenAI, LLM, MCP concepts.
    • Proactive communication and team player in a highly motivated team.
    • Work independently and enjoy solving problems and learn new skills.
    • Open to working in a highly international environment.
