- In your new role you will:
- Develop and enhance automation scripts using languages such as Python, PowerShell/Bash, or other scripting tools to support operational processes and tasks.
- Assist with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Jira/Bitbucket Pipelines to improve software development and delivery workflows.
- Collaborate with teams to identify manual and repetitive processes that can be automated.
- Work with APIs to automate interactions between systems and tools.
- Conduct testing and debugging of automation workflows to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to their implementation.
- Document automation processes, scripts, workflows, and related tools to ensure usability and maintainability.

Qualifikationen
- You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Data Science or similar.
- You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and version control systems such as Git (GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket).
- Basic understanding of automation principles and exposure to tools used for automation.
- Knowledge of working with REST APIs to integrate systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with engineering teams.
- Interest in process optimization, workflow automation, and software delivery pipelines.
Erfahrung
- Solid programming skills in Python and experience with scripting languages like PowerShell/Bash (SQL is a plus).
Unser Angebot
- This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group D for Master students.
- Das Mindestentgelt für die Stelle als Automation Engineer beträgt 2.736,20 EUR brutto pro Monat auf Basis Vollzeitbeschäftigung.
- Bereitschaft zur Überzahlung.
