- Join our software team and help shape the digital future of the Falkensteiner Group! From 5-star hotels and premium camping to crowd investment and new ventures - we're building smart digital solutions to automate operations, streamline data flows, and enable scalable and integrated digital services.
- As a Python Developer, you will help develop a middle-ware platform that connects external systems (like PMS, CRM, or payment providers) with our internal services.
- This platform is based on an event-driven architecture that enables scalable and flexible data exchange across our digital landscape.
- You'll be responsible for building APIs, managing service integrations, and ensuring stable, secure, and observable communication flows.
- Your work will also support downstream use cases such as analytics and reporting.
- Develop and maintain a middleware layer for integrating third-party and internal applications.
- Implement an event-driven architecture using modern messaging tools (e.g., Kafka, Azure Event Hub).
- Build and manage robust APIs and data exchange services for real-time and asynchronous communication.
- Ensure reliable, observable, and secure integration flows between platforms.
- Collaborate with DevOps and other engineering teams on architecture, deployment, and automation.
- Enable downstream use cases like analytics and monitoring through well-structured data services.

Qualifikationen
- Solid understanding of API design, system integration, and message-based communication.
- Familiarity with event streaming or message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Event Hub).
- Good grasp of architectural concepts like microservices and decoupled systems.
- Interest in scalable backend systems and clean integration patterns.
- Excellent English and good German skills.
Erfahrung
- Strong Python skills and experience with web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask).
- Experience with tools like Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
