In dieser Rolle steuerst du den gesamten Engineering Change Prozess, evaluierst technische Vorschläge aus der Forschung und Entwicklung und optimierst die Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Abteilungen zu Herstellungs- und Lieferkettenprozessen.
Deine Rolle im Team
- As the Engineering Change Manager, you will act as the central hub between R&D, Operations and Service.
- Your main responsibility is to govern, coordinate, and optimize the end-to-end product change process.
- You will critically evaluate technical proposals from R&D, ensure strict process compliance, maintain flawless data quality, and drive continuous improvement through KPI tracking.
- Manage and Monitor the Company Wide Engineering Change Process based on KPIs.
- Consolidate and prepare technical agendas and documentation for Technical Change Boards.
- Ensure formal compliance with the internal Engineering Change Management process across all involved departments.
- Evaluate incoming Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) regarding their technical feasibility, necessity, and impact on manufacturing and supply chain.
- Assess risks and cross-functional impacts of proposed changes on existing inventory, tooling, and production processes.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related field.
Qualifikationen
- Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Solid understanding of technical drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM) and manufacturing methodologies and processes.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work KPI-driven and continuously improve processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail, especially in data accuracy and documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments (Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Quality).
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
Erfahrung
- Proven experience in Engineering Change Management, configuration management, or a similar role in a manufacturing and/or high-tech environment.
- Proven experience with PDM/PLM systems.
