- As Senior Expert IT Business Applications Data Management, you take a leading role in establishing and driving Master Data Governance, ensuring high-quality, standardized data as the backbone of efficient and scalable business operations.
- This role offers you a key position in a strategic S/4HANA transformation program, with high impact on data quality, process efficiency and digitalization.
- You will have the opportunity to actively shape and build global data governance and MDG capabilities across the organization.
- Take technical responsibility for the SAP MDG solution, ensuring correct implementation and execution of governance rules.
- Lead data migration and cleansing activities from SAP R/3 to S/4 (e.g. duplicates, mappings, warehouse alignment).
- Drive the design, standardization and continuous improvement of material master data processes (creation, maintenance, phase-out).
- Evaluate and manage process deviations and exceptions, ensuring minimal complexity and alignment with governance standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (CIP) to further enhance process harmonization and efficiency.
- Act as a trusted partner for stakeholders across business and IT, including process owners, stream leads and senior management.
- Support process owners in building and structuring a sustainable material master organization, aligned with company-wide data initiatives.
- Advise on material classification, versioning and PLM-related topics.
- Train and enable key users, data stewards, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure a sustainable MDG operating model, including change and release management.
- Support the S/4HANA transformation with a strong focus on data harmonization and standardization.
- Ensure data quality and process compliance by defining standards and fostering a strong governance culture.
- Define and implement data quality KPIs and monitoring frameworks.

Qualifikationen
- Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes and their optimization.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to train and guide stakeholders.

- Team player with a proactive mindset, curiosity and willingness to learn.

Erfahrung
- Several years of experience in SAP master data management, ideally in an international environment.
- Strong expertise in SAP ERP and master data processes, with experience in S/4 and SAP MDG being a plus.
- Experience in large-scale transformation programs (ideally S/4HANA).
- Proven project management experience in implementation or transformation projects.
