Job Zusammenfassung
In dieser Bachelorarbeit entwickelst du die Systemarchitektur für KI-Anwendungen auf Mikrocontrollern, baust Datenpipelines, optimierst Algorithmen und validierst Prototypen in realen Szenarien unter verschiedenen Bedingungen.
Deine Rolle im Team
- Define end-to-end system architecture and requirements.
- Build data pipelines and simulation/benchmark frameworks with suitable metrics.
- Develop and train algorithms for event/data-efficient inference.
- Map and optimize models for edge hardware through techniques like quantization and pruning.
- Implement real-time integration of sensing, compute, and comms with robustness features.
- Validate prototypes and run power, latency, and accuracy benchmarking across scenarios.

Ausbildung
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree (at least in the 5th semester) in a relevant technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Physics, Information Technology, or similar field.
Qualifikationen
- Fluency in English, with German as a plus.
- Ability to recognize problems, evaluate options and take action.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, collaborating with others to achieve common goals.
Unser Angebot
- This thesis has to be written in cooperation with a university.
- Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
- Duration: min. 6 months
- This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students.
