The smaXtec Messenger is the web interface for the modern dairy farmer that represents the insights that has been measured and generated by the smaXtec bolus. The smaXtec bolus measures the following features directly from the rumen of a dairy cow:

• temperature
• activity
• rumination time
• rumen activity
• pH value
• water intake

Out of this measured features and the help of AI, insights are generated in almost real time via a streamprocessing approach that detects cows that are in an unhealthy state and their reproduction and feeding status. The smaXtec messenger represents this generated insights in a user friendly way by providing:

• to do lists (e.g. unhealthy cows, cows with imminent calving, ...)
• diagrams with raw metrics (temperature, activity, rumination time, rumen activity, pH, water intake, ...)
• metrics aggregated by groups of cows

The tool is to be considered a daily working tool for dairy herd managers to manage a herds health, reproduction and feeding status.
