- Technical Authority: Help shape architecture and design decisions for our Java-based cloud services, setting the standard for quality, performance, and reliability across the platform.
- Specification-Driven Development (SDD): Turn requirements into clear, testable specifications that guide design, implementation, and verification from the very start.
- Feature Ownership: Own the end-to-end design and implementation of complex, cross-cutting features in our cloud services, building in scalability and robustness from day one.
- Code Review: Raise the technical bar for the whole team through constructive feedback, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Performance & Scalability: Drive performance and reliability initiatives so that our cloud services scale for customers around the globe.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner closely with architects, developers, QA, product owners, and hosting teams to align design decisions and deliver robust, high-impact solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion best practices in TDD, CI/CD, SDD, and agile methodologies, and help define the team's technical roadmap and engineering standards.
- In this expert role, you'll be a primary technical authority for our cloud services. You'll own architecture and design decisions, drive Specification-Driven Development, lead high-impact feature delivery, and set the quality standard for your team and beyond. You'll work in an inspiring, collaborative agile environment that encourages your professional growth and values your expertise. Qualifikationen
- Deep expertise in object-oriented programming, including object state, lifecycle, and parallelism
- Solid knowledge of messaging systems such as JMS, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ
- Expert-level understanding of TDD (Test-Driven Development) and CI/CD pipelines
- Fluent English, spoken and written; German is a plus
Erfahrung
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record in cloud-based systems and complex distributed services
- Strong experience with dependency injection and aspect-oriented programming
- Hands-on experience with Specification-Driven Development (SDD): writing clear, executable or testable specifications and using them to drive design and delivery
- Hands-on experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker) and cloud infrastructure
- Extensive experience in agile environments, ideally in an expert, principal, or technical-lead capacity

- We offer a competitive salary based on your qualifications and professional experience. The minimum salary for this position according to the collective agreement is EUR 2,535.00 gross per month on a full-time basis. Your actual salary will be set in line with the market, based on your qualifications.
