Deine Rolle im Team
- Design and implement a scalable data lakehouse that integrates structured and unstructured data.
- Develop and maintain pipelines and workflows to ingest, process and store data from different sources.
- Collaborate with data owners across the university and external vendors to integrate data into the lakehouse.
- Create comprehensive documentation for the data lakehouse architecture, processes and standards.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and tools, and recommend the best technologies for specific data use cases.

Ausbildung
- Academic degree in the field of Data Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics or a related field.
Qualifikationen
- Expertise in cloud data solutions, data lakehousing, big data technologies (e.g. Apache Spark, Delta Lake), database systems (SQL, NoSQL), Python, APIs (e.g. REST, SOAP) and ELT/ETL approaches.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality and regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR).
- Proficiency in English at a professional and negotiation level.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an analytical mindset to guide projects, solve problems, explain complex systems clearly and engage effectively with stakeholders.
Erfahrung
- 3+ years of professional experience in database design, architecture and modeling.
