- The Cyber Security Advisory (CSA) team at Ontinue plays a critical role in delivering expert security guidance and hands-on technical support to our customers.
- As a Cyber Security Advisor, you'll be at the forefront of this mission, acting as a trusted security partner throughout the customer journey - from initial onboarding through the full lifecycle of the service.
- In this role, you'll help customers understand, adopt, and continuously improve their security posture by translating complex security concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
- You'll work closely with customers to ensure Ontinue's capabilities are aligned to their environments, goals, and risk profiles, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen defenses and address emerging threats.
- By building strong relationships and providing ongoing advisory support, Cyber Security Advisors help customers realize maximum value from the Ontinue platform, improve operational resilience, and make informed security decisions with confidence.
- Interface directly with customers, providing expert advice and indirect leadership in cyber security to address their unique needs and challenges.
- Leverage your cyber security experience to deliver proactive support and guidance, helping customers optimize their security defenses and mitigate risks effectively.
- Utilize your knowledge of Microsoft security products, including Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, and the Microsoft Defender suite, to offer tailored recommendations and solutions.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, acting as a reliable and trustworthy partner in their journey to enhance security posture and resilience.
- Stay abreast of the latest cyber security trends, attacker tradecraft, and best practices, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge to better serve our customers.

Qualifikationen
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interfacing with all levels of business and providing informal leadership in cyber security matters.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft security products and technologies, with proficiency in Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, and the Microsoft Defender suite or related product lines.
- Deep understanding of attacker tradecraft and security hardening techniques, enabling you to offer valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
- Fluent in both German and English.
- Scripting/programming skills to automate security tasks and processes.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra, contributing to comprehensive security assessments and solutions.
- Background in network and system administration, providing a holistic understanding of security infrastructure.
Erfahrung
- Minimum 3 years of cyber security experience, with a proven track record of providing advisory services to clients or internal stakeholders.
- Experience in incident response and threat hunting, enhancing your ability to detect and respond to security incidents effectively.
- Experience in the managed security services industry, familiarizing you with the unique challenges and opportunities in delivering security services at scale.
