Deine Rolle im Team
- We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong software development skills to join our Data Warehouse team.
- In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and real-time analytics systems that power data-driven decision making across the organization.
- You will work with modern data architecture, event-driven systems, and high-performance analytical databases to process and analyze large-scale datasets.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
- Build and optimize data models and analytical datasets using modern architecture such as the Medallion Architecture.
- Develop and maintain real-time data processing workflows in an event-driven architecture.
- Work with high-performance analytical databases, preferably ClickHouse, for real-time analytics workloads.
- Write efficient and scalable SQL queries and optimize query performance.
- Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, and platform teams to design reliable data services.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability across the data platform.
- Contribute to the development of internal data tools and services.

Qualifikationen
- Familiarity with real-time analytics platforms or pipelines.
- Software engineering mindset (clean code, testing, maintainability).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration, deployment, and management of scalable applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including automated build, test, and deployment processes to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
Erfahrung
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with large datasets.
- Experience with column-oriented databases, preferably ClickHouse.
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines for analytical workloads.
- Practical experience with message broker systems, preferably Azure Service Bus, for implementing reliable and scalable messaging and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with data modeling and modern data architecture such as Medallion Architecture.
- Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including deployment, configuration, and management of cloud-based service.
- Experience with C# Development, Apache Superset or similar BI/visualization tools.
- Experience with stream processing frameworks or messaging systems (e.g., Kafka).
