Deine Rolle im Team
- As a Senior Program Manager in Cybersecurity, located in Austria, you will lead and manage complex, large-scale programs and projects for NVISO clients, with a strong focus on cybersecurity-related initiatives (e.g. security transformation programs, incident response engagements, security operations build-outs, compliance and regulatory programs, implementation of Business Continuity Management Systems and Disaster Recovery Programs).
- Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, building trusted relationships at both operational and executive level;
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource plans, and ensure delivery within these constraints.
- Coordinate cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams, including NVISO security consultants, engineers, and client-side teams;
- Identify, track, and mitigate project and program risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Manage stakeholder communication, status reporting, and governance structures (steering committees, status meetings, escalation paths);
- Support pre-sales activities where relevant, such as scoping engagements, estimating effort, and contributing to proposals;
- Drive continuous improvement of program/project management practices within NVISO's delivery teams;
- Ensure quality, compliance, and client satisfaction throughout the project/program lifecycle.

Ausbildung
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (business, Information Security, IT, engineering) or equivalent experience;
Qualifikationen
- You hold citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states or the Austrian citizenship;
- Solid knowledge of project/program management methodologies (e.g. PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum, SAFe) and ability to adapt approach to client context;
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - comfortable interacting with both technical teams and C-level client representatives;
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and align diverse, often remote or multi-location teams;
- Analytical and structured mindset, with strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities;
- Excellent English and German written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Willingness to work on-site at client premises as needed and to travel occasionally;
- A relevant certification (PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or similar) is a plus;
- Quickly grasping the complexity and the business reasons for a company to perform security and adapting your communication style and the security program to make it fit for the client;
- Leadership skills to manage a team and collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
Erfahrung
- Several years of proven experience (typically 7+ years) as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager, ideally in IT, security consulting, or technology-driven environments;
- Strong affinity for or demonstrable experience in cybersecurity - understanding of security concepts, terminology, and the challenges clients face (prior direct cybersecurity project experience is a plus, but not mandatory);
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, and resource planning for complex projects or programs;
