    In dieser Position entwickelst du Projektpläne, leitest agile Softwareentwicklungsteams und implementierst IT-Systeme, während du mehrere Technologieprojekte effizient und ergebnisorientiert verwaltest.

    Deine Rolle im Team

    • Reporting to the Project Support Team Leader, the IT Project Manager ensures a results-oriented response to the Department's priorities as communicated by the Section Head and the other divisional management team members.
    • The IT Project Manager has primary responsibility for managing one or multiple IT projects simultaneously, ensuring that projects are delivered within agreed tolerances of time, budget and benefits, and advises senior management on the impact of technology projects on the IAEA Safeguards core business.
    • Develop project plans in line with relevant policies and standards, including solution options consistent with the SGIS technical and information architecture, and with best practices as identified by the PRINCE2 methodology, including controls to manage risk, quality, budget and schedule.
    • Manage the implementation of new information systems, or enhancements to existing IT systems.
    • Lead agile software implementation teams, provide continuous guidance to team members and manage the agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) end-to-end.
    • Serve as product manager for safeguards IT products, effectively collaborating with clients, third-party providers, end-users, and SGIS development, infrastructure and service desk staff and management.
    • Collaborate with other departmental staff in the implementation of policies and standards for information, project and portfolio management.
    • Support management of the SG IT project and product portfolio through data analysis and visualization.

    Unsere Erwartungen an dich

    Ausbildung

    • Master's Degree - Advanced university degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
    • Bachelor's Degree - University degree in a stipulated field with two years of additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.

    Qualifikationen

    • Accredited Project Management Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 an asset.
    • Accredited Agile and Business Analysis Certification such as CBAP and SCRUM Master an asset.
    • Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.

    Erfahrung

    • Minimum of five years of experience as an IT project manager in an information systems context, in a client-facing role.
    • Experience in leading software delivery teams using a lean/agile approach such as SCRUM.
    • Experience in utilizing techniques and tools to explore and validate requirements with clients such as low-fi/hi-fi prototyping, user personas, ideation session.

    • The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $71335 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), a variable post adjustment which currently amounts to US $ 37094, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses.
    • Other benefits include 6 weeks' annual leave, home leave travel, pension plan and health insurance.
