Deine Rolle im Team
- Excellent research needs state-of-the-art IT infrastructure and innovative digital services.
- With a team of about 50 experts, we will redesign the institute's digital landscape over the next few years and implement an ambitious transformation programme to facilitate the institute's rapid growth.
- As part of our Division IT & Digital Transformation, you will lead the SAP team.
- You will act as a strategic partner for the Head of IT & Digital Transformation, for ISTA's divisions (in particular, Finance, HR, and Grant Office) as well as external providers and will be responsible for further developing digital solutions for the financial and HR management of the Institute.
- You will support the planning, decision making, implementation of SAP-related projects, and day-to-day operations of our SAP landscape.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of currently four SAP professionals.
- Coordinate and prioritise SAP projects and daily operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver end-to-end processes and effective SAP solutions.
- Ensure the successful implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of SAP ERP and HR systems as well as SAP Ariba.
- Lead the conversion from SAP ECC to S/4HANA in an alliance with other institutions.
- Foster a positive team environment and drive continuous improvement.
- Managing external subcontractors and consultants.

Ausbildung
- University degree in computer science, business informatics or a similar field.
Qualifikationen
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working language is English, fluent in German is a must.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to convey technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Excellent knowledge of process modelling.
- Hands-on mentality, precise working style and clear communication.
Erfahrung
- Proven experience with SAP (preferably 5+ years).
- Previous leadership or project management experience is a plus.
