- We are looking for a motivated and experienced systems engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team.
- The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, operating, and improving our on-premise and cloud-connected continuous integration environments.
- Design, operate, and improve our on-premise and cloud-connected continuous integration environments.
- Own and evolve our Ansible-based configuration management at scale, including developing and maintaining roles, playbooks, and standards for reliable system provisioning and updates, as well as building and maintaining reusable Packer base images.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, and contribute to Kubernetes-based platforms where applicable.
- Lead and support the design and initial setup of our OpenStack-based private cloud environment, including integration with surrounding systems, automation, and operations.
- Contribute to secure and efficient operations in on-premise data center, while also supporting workloads and services running in AWS and other cloud environments.
- Collaborate closely with product, platform, and security teams to ensure our infrastructure is stable, observable, and ready to scale.

Qualifikationen
- A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
- Solid system engineering skills, including Linux administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to document and automate what you build.
- Familiarity with observability tools (such as Dynatrace or similar) is a plus.
Erfahrung
- We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in systems engineering and a passion for automation and cloud technologies.
- 3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer (or a similar infrastructure-focused role) in larger or complex environments.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management in medium to large environments (roles, inventories, CI integration, and best practices).
- Experience with OpenStack or strong interest and willingness to learn it. Prior work with other private cloud platforms is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure as code and container platforms; Terraform and Kubernetes experience is a strong plus.
- Experience working in on-premise data center environments. AWS or other public cloud know-how is a plus.
