Deine Rolle im Team
- Collaborate on user requirements with Customer, Sales, Marketing and Applications.
- Create design specifications based on user needs.
- Perform concept experiments and determine feasibility of solutions.
- Perform engineering analysis of the existing technology and develop strategies for how to achieve the desired function.
- Coordinate designs with other key functions including Mechanical, Optical, Electronic, Firmware Engineering and Software Engineering.
- Drive engineering analysis including design reviews and verification.
- Perform system build, integration, testing and troubleshooting/debug.
- Utilize effective hands-on problem solving to determine problems, find root causes, verify and implement countermeasures, and sustain results.
- Learn and use tools such as FMEA, Problem Solving, Poka-Yoke and Standard Work to achieve quality, delivery and cost targets and to continuously improve processes.
- Document and control engineering changes.
- All other responsibilities and/or other related duties as assigned.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- Be educated with a Life Science Degree in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering or Physics.
Qualifikationen
- Proven ability to perform systems integration and verification to defined requirements.
- Creative thinker with excellent troubleshooting skills in the areas of mechanical, electro-mechanical, optical, communication and control systems.
- Very good English language skills, German language is nice to have.
Erfahrung
- Several years' experience in R&D in measuring and detection technology.
