- In your new role, you will be the technical owner of our power-conversion system concepts -- collecting insights from customers, translating them into robust architectures, and guiding multidisciplinary teams all the way to lab-proven demonstrators that win designs.
- Drive system definition for future AC/DC & DC/DC converters - translate market trends and sensor capabilities into groundbreaking topologies and reference architectures.
- Capture and consolidate requirements from OEMs, Tier-1s and industrial partners, turning real-world needs into clear product specifications.
- Steer the product roadmap hand-in-hand with Marketing, PAE/PDE/FAE teams, balancing technical feasibility, time-to-market and customer value.
- Create convincing collateral (application notes, whitepapers, demonstrators, reference designs, customer decks) that accelerate design-in and showcase system benefits.
- Lead cross-functional ideation sessions, ensuring seamless hand-over from concept to silicon, package, PCB and firmware design.
- Provide technical leadership in power-system applications, guiding PCB layout, simulation, prototyping and lab validation to first-time-right results.

Ausbildung
- A Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (focus on power electronics; mechatronics as a plus).
Qualifikationen

- You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Hands-on expertise in PCB layout (Altium), power-converter topologies, FEM / field analysis (Ansys) and system-level simulation (SIMPLIS/Simetrix, MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, SPICE).
- A proven track record of translating system requirements into IC-level and board-level solutions, including partitioning of functional blocks and control-loop design.
- Firmware familiarity with MCU families (PSOC, XMC, AURIX) for system bring-up, test automation and application demos.
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus).
Erfahrung
- 5 + years in AC / DC & DC / DC power-supply design.
- Experience in technical marketing / customer engagement (3+ years).
