Ausbildung

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Strong skills in distributed systems, cloud-native architecture (microservices, containers, Kubernetes), and modern data storage and retrieval technologies for GenAI workloads (vector databases and relational/time-series databases, e.g., Postgres/MySQL, ClickHouse or similar).
• Strong focus on software quality, performance, maintainability, and security, including awareness of data privacy, governance and responsible AI considerations.
• Knowledge of modern development processes and ways of working (Agile/Scrum, DevOps).
• Bonus: Familiarity with additional backend/frontend frameworks (Java/Spring Boot, ReactJS), and contributions to open-source AI projects or a strong portfolio of public GenAI prototypes.
• A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application).

Erfahrung

• 7+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in architecting and delivering AI/ML or GenAI applications at scale on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, GenAI patterns (RAG, agent integration, prompt orchestration), Python, and modern AI/ML ecosystems (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Langchain), plus solid software engineering skills (testing, CI/CD, code review).
