Deine Rolle im Team
- Take Technical Ownership: Define and continuously evolve the architecture roadmap for our Summit product - the foundation of mountain access systems.
- Be a Change Agent: Guide a highly experienced and close-knit development team through a cultural and technical shift toward modern software practices.
- Build Bridges: Improve collaboration, feedback, and shared accountability.
- Document and Structure: Establish clear, reliable technical documentation - your structure will be the backbone of future development.
- Provide Technical Guidance: Act as a senior expert by mentoring developers, sharing best practices, and ensuring alignment with SKIDATA's architectural standards.
- Stay Hands-On: Develop alongside the team when needed - this is not an ivory tower role.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Qualifikationen
- Solid understanding of modern software design principles (SOLID, modularization, maintainability).
- Deep knowledge of software security best practices (e.g., encryption, authentication).
- Strong communication and leadership skills - including mentoring and giving constructive feedback.
- Fluency in English and at least B2-level proficiency in German are required.
- A strategic thinker with a passion for high-quality software, ready to create real impact in a legacy-rich environment.
Erfahrung
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in architecture or senior design roles.
- Strong experience with Microsoft technologies (.NET / C#), SQL databases (ideally Microsoft SQL Server), and web technologies.
- Experience modernizing legacy systems and improving code testability.
- Agile mindset and hands-on experience with methods like Scrum or Kanban.
