    • Designing and developing backend services in Java Spring Boot, forming the heart of a system that handles real-time transactions.
    • Building and maintaining gRPC-connected Go microservices, contributing to a polyglot architecture where services communicate efficiently across language boundaries.
    • Building asynchronous communication between services using message brokers, ensuring scalability and reliability of data exchange in an event-driven architecture.
    • Developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
    • Making a real impact on a product that supports the energy transition and shapes how energy is balanced on the markets of tomorrow.

    Unsere Erwartungen an dich

    Qualifikationen

    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized deployments.
    • Proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.

    Erfahrung

    • Several years of commercial experience in Java backend development, with strong proficiency in Spring Boot for building microservices and server-client applications.
    • Experience with or willingness to work in polyglot environments - particularly Go-based microservices communicating via gRPC.
    • A solid understanding of SQL databases (ideally PostgreSQL) and experience with ORM frameworks.
    • Experience working with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) in distributed systems.
    • Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.

    • For this position (38.5 hours per week), the monthly minimum salary, as per the collective agreement (IT KV), is 3.954 EUR gross (14x annually, for full-time). Your actual salary will be individually negotiated based on your qualifications and experience.
    • We are looking to hire for Volue office in Vienna but will be ready to consider other locations for the right candidate.
