- The Creative Management team represents the pillar for building and publishing ads across multiple domains by delivering exciting customer features, creating new systems and implementing platform initiatives.
- We use a cloud-native approach, build full-stack solutions and foster innovation.
- We use infrastructure-as-code (IaC), we create scalable services and we follow best practices to enhance systems quality & reliability.
- As a Senior Software Engineer – Full-stack TypeScript in the Creative Management Team at Sportradar, you will be tackling all aspects of the software stack, from API services to UI.
- Become part of a cross-functional team and take on the responsibility of delivering functional excellence and value to the business.
- From a technical standpoint, our product consists of multiple microservices that are entirely hosted in a cloud environment and configured with infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
- Among many AWS services, we use Lambda Functions to run our code, RDS/DocumentDB to store our data and SNS/SQS for messaging.
- As an engineering team, we continuously strive to find the most suitable solution for any given challenge.
- We aim for an appropriate level of abstraction and refactor sensibly, which allows us to maintain an extendable code base.
- Testing practices help us shape our change and ensure the system behaves as expected.

- Support and develop team members by providing feedback and guidance.

Qualifikationen
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a passion for clean code and testing.
- Strong consumer focus, ownership, and communication.
- Additional knowledge in Go, Python, Java is welcome!
- Keen interest in new technologies and learning.
- You might be a good fit if you: Enjoy helping other engineers on your team to improve their skills (development and soft skills).
- Are excited to learn new technologies and systems.
- Take ownership, proactively lead changes and improvements to best practices and code-base.
- Are a full stack developer with a focus on backend development.
Erfahrung
- 5+ years of previous professional experience in agile/lean development.
- 5+ years of previous commercial experience in both Backend & Frontend with a focus on web development.
- Experience & knowledge building scalable services in one of the languages: Typescript (strong knowledge), Javascript, especially using Node.js and one Frontend Framework (eg: Vue.js, React).
- Experience setting up services, builds, pipelines and cloud infrastructure (we use AWS & GCP).
- Experience using Terraform, IaC, IAM.
- Experience creating architecture and user-flow diagrams.
- Experience utilizing databases, SQL or NoSQL.
- Keep the user experience in mind and challenge design decisions.

- The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.

- Due to the top inner-city location, we are excellently connected to the public transport network and the cycle path network and are therefore very easy to reach.
