- As a Senior Java Developer, you’ll play a key role in building scalable, event-driven microservices that power innovative NXP products.
- You’ll collaborate across teams to transform user needs into robust technical solutions, contributing to the development of secure IoT platforms.
- Your work will directly impact how our customers experience our technology—from embedded systems to cloud-connected services—helping deliver meaningful value in a rapidly evolving IoT landscape.
- Design and develop distributed systems and microservices using Java (21+) and the Spring ecosystem.
- Build high-performance, event-driven architectures leveraging Apache Kafka.
- Develop and optimize relational database models, especially with PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with Solution and Security Architects to implement new features and maintain existing systems.
- Translate user requirements into robust technical designs through analytical thinking.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure technical solutions align with customer needs.
- Take ownership of your components and mentor junior developers.
- Contribute to system evolution through refactoring and migration initiatives.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement processes.
- Explore and contribute to IoT innovations across industrial gateways, and cloud platforms.
- Work closely with a dedicated DevOps and UI team to enable smooth and frequent production deployments.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Qualifikationen
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and microservice architecture.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, especially AWS.
- Familiarity with IT security concepts and secure software development practices.
- Passion for IoT and eagerness to contribute to cutting-edge product development.
- Operate in an agile environment with a distributed team.
- Fluent in English.
Erfahrung
- 10+ years of experience in Java backend development.
- 5+ years of experience in Spring ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with event-driven systems and Apache Kafka.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
