Deine Rolle im Team
- As QA Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform and mobile applications.
- You will lead the QA function within the organization, mentor the QA team, and work closely with developers, product owners and management to continuously improve our quality assurance processes.
- In this role you will combine hands-on testing experience with leadership and process ownership, helping to ensure that wegfinder delivers a reliable experience to users across Austria.
- You will lead and mentor the QA team, foster collaboration, knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- You are working on defining and evolving the overall testing strategy for backend services and mobile applications, including feature testing, regression testing, smoke testing and exploratory testing.
- You will ensure QA processes and practices are consistently applied across cross-functional delivery teams and continuously improved.
- You will coordinate release preparation together with the Product Owners and the engineering teams, ensuring releases are properly validated before deployment.
- You define, monitor and maintain QA-related KPIs to identify quality gaps and drive continuous improvement.
- You are providing hands-on support for testing activities when required, contributing to manual and automated testing efforts and analyze production incidents and hotfixes to identify root causes and drive systemic quality improvements.
- You monitor the quality and operational performance of mobility and transport system integrations in production and organize and coordinate field testing activities, focusing on identifying and resolving real user-facing issues.

Qualifikationen
- You possess a strong understanding of modern testing strategies, including regression, exploratory, and automation-based testing approaches.
- You have a strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify systemic issues and drive sustainable improvements.
- You have good communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to different audiences.
Erfahrung
- You have experience leading and mentoring QA professionals within cross-functional software development teams and several years of hands-on experience in software testing, including manual testing of mobile applications (Android and iOS).
- You ideally bring experience with test automation tools and test management platforms.

- We follow a hybrid work model, spending a minimum of 2 days per week in the office, the remaining days working from home.

- For this full-time position (38.5 hours per week), the monthly minimum salary, as per the collective agreement (travel agency), is established at €2.225,- gross (14x annually).
- Your actual salary will be competitive, individually negotiated based on your qualifications and experience.
