Job Zusammenfassung
In dieser Position entwickelst du Software zur Analyse wissenschaftlicher Daten und betreust die IT-Infrastruktur des DiSC, inklusive technischer Beratung und Systemadministration für diverse Projekte und Veranstaltungen.
Job Technologien
Deine Rolle im Team
- Development of software for analyzing, processing and providing scientific data to support scientific operations at the DiSC; consolidation and maintenance of software developed at the DiSC (Python, R, C++, web technologies, ...); maintenance of scientific data.
- System administration and development, in particular planning, design, procurement and implementation of the DiSC's hardware and software infrastructure, technical consulting for up to 40 employees (heterogeneous operating systems, application programs, GPU clusters, …), communication and cooperation with the Information Technology Services (IT-Center, ZID).
- Technical support for DiSC activities and projects (e.g. websites, courses, meetings, conferences, events, ...).

Ausbildung
- Completed Master's degree in computer science (or other relevant field) or equivalent qualification (e.g. Bachelor's degree with specialized knowledge or relevant professional experience).
Qualifikationen
- Proven in-depth knowledge of Linux.
- Demonstrably good programming skills (preferably in Python, C++ and web technologies).
- Demonstrably good communication skills in German and English.
- Ability to work in a team and cooperate.
- A customer- and service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently, carry out tasks diligently and reliably.
- Enthusiasm for new technologies.
- Commitment and willingness to undergo further training.
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
