In diesem Job sicherst du die Verfügbarkeit und Sicherheit von Server- und Datacenter-Systemen, während du deren Betrieb, Optimierung und Lifecycle-Management übernimmst und eng mit globalen IT-Teams zusammenarbeitest.
Deine Rolle im Team
- Ensure high availability and security for enterprise compute and datacenter systems.
- As a Server & Compute / Datacenter Specialist, you will be responsible for the operation, optimization, and security of enterprise compute platforms and datacenter infrastructure.
- You will manage physical and virtual servers, hypervisors, storage integration, and datacenter hardware to guarantee performance and reliability for business-critical applications.
- This role includes lifecycle management, patching, capacity planning, and disaster recovery readiness in close collaboration with global IT teams.
- Infrastructure Management & Optimization
- Design, operate, and maintain server, virtualization, and datacenter infrastructure.
- Support designated compliance workloads in on-prem and hybrid environments.
- Manage OS platforms, hypervisors, and compute capacity.
- Implement hardening, patching, and lifecycle management standards.
- Ensure system availability, performance, and compliance.
- Support audits and security reviews related to infrastructure.
- Document architecture, configurations, and procedures.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Ausbildung
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Network Engineering.
Qualifikationen
- Knowledge of infrastructure security and compliance requirements.
- Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working style.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
Erfahrung
- Proven experience in a similar position.
- Strong experience with server, virtualization, and datacenter technologies.
- Experience in regulated or high-availability environments preferred.
