Deine Rolle im Team
- Lead two product engineering teams with a clear focus on delivery, ownership, and customer impact.
- Drive mobile app priorities around feature parity and performance, ensuring a best-in-class experience for property managers.
- Guide the Customer Delight team in identifying and resolving friction points across the platform.
- Ensure both teams deliver high-quality software on time, with scalable, secure, and maintainable architecture.
- Support engineers through mentorship, coaching, and career development - helping each person grow and succeed.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Support, and other Engineering teams to align on goals and ensure successful execution.
- Foster a team culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and refine engineering processes that improve delivery speed, system reliability, and team autonomy.
- Partner with the Director of Engineering and other Engineering Leaders to shape org-wide practices and performance standards.

Qualifikationen
- A strong foundation in software engineering - you don't need to write production code daily, but you're comfortable reading and reasoning about complex systems.
- Familiarity with mobile development: you understand the mobile app lifecycle, release processes, app store dynamics, and mobile-specific concerns like performance, offline behavior, and push notifications.
- Ability to drive execution: aligning team goals, managing delivery timelines, and removing blockers.
- Track record of mentoring engineers and creating an environment where people can grow and thrive.
- Comfortable working in agile environments with fast-moving priorities and cross-functional teams.
Erfahrung
- 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineering Manager or in a similar position with direct people management responsibilities.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in a product-oriented environment, ideally within SaaS or platform businesses.
- Experience in remote-first teams and product companies (vs. consultancy/project shops) is preferred.
