- Empower Engineering Autonomy: Design and build reusable infrastructure components that enable engineers to develop, deploy, and operate their services with confidence and autonomy.
- Enhance Developer Experience: Continuously improve developer workflows by designing concepts, evaluating tools, and automating processes like dev environments, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment systems in close collaboration with development teams.
- Build and Scale Core Platforms: Develop and optimize a robust continuous delivery platform, covering build pipelines, automated testing, deployment processes, and cloud infrastructure provisioning.
- Champion Code Quality and Best Practices: Drive adoption of best practices for code quality, testing, and maintainability while creating clear, actionable guidelines to support engineering teams.
- Secure the Platform: Strengthen the security of core platforms by implementing best practices and educating teams to ensure secure development and operations.
- Shape Technical Vision: Play an active role in defining and evolving the company's technical strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Foster Collaboration and Improvement: Create a culture of open feedback and continuous improvement by sharing ideas, identifying pain points, and proposing innovative solutions.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- Fluency in written and verbal communication in English.
- Proven expertise with AWS.
- Background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably AWS CDK.
- Track record of developing web applications with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Fun in operating, monitoring & maintaining critical production systems.
- Knowledge of network design (optimally in a cloud environment).
Erfahrung
- 8+ years of software engineering in mid/large-scale production systems with major programming languages, with at least 5 of those years in platform related roles (eg: DevOps, SysOps, DX, …).
- Loves working on Developer Experience.
