Deine Rolle im Team
- You are part of an agile UX team, collaborating closely with Frontend Engineers.
- You are designing and building state-of-the-art data visualization platforms with a real impact on biomedical research.
- You implement and review interactive user interfaces based on design specifications using React/TypeScript/Mantine.
- You play a key role in evolving our Design System.
- You design and implement scalable UI components in our library, ensuring visual consistency, accessibility, and high performance across all products.
- You build interactive prototypes in Figma that align with our design system.

Ausbildung
- You have a formal education in a technical or design-related area (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design).
Qualifikationen
- You bring expertise in bridging the gap between design and code: You don't just use design tools like Figma for mockups; you use them to architect scalable design systems that translate 1:1 into our component libraries.
- You show familiarity with advanced topics like component library design.
- You have strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma (or similar) for creating high-fidelity prototypes, developing design specifications, and maintaining design systems.
- You know how to handle information density without overwhelming the user.
- You have a keen understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, and interaction design patterns.
- A background in life sciences/bioinformatics, or data visualization is a plus, but not required.
- You are an independent, creative, and reliable team player.
- You show excellent knowledge of English (German optional).
Erfahrung
- You are the bridge between design and code, skilled in both user experience principles and modern frontend development.
- You have several years of professional experience in a role that combines design and frontend development.
- You have demonstrated experience in complex dashboard design and the development of visual analysis tools.
- You bring a solid professional experience with modern frontend technologies, ideally React and TypeScript.
