Deine Rolle im Team
- Operate state-of-the-art full-cockpit driving simulator from VI-Grade (software and hardware).
- Be the go-to person for simulator software and hardware development and integration, supporting the preparation, execution, and documentation of user studies.
- Collaborate with researchers, partners and customers to create customised scenarios for diverse projects ranging from large international, multi-year research to short-term testing services.
- Update and maintain code databases for all simulator subsystems, including data acquisition, vehicle model, visuals, sound, motion, and communication with other tools.
- Cooperate with the IT team to ensure system security and safety.
- Responsible for the reliability and accuracy of the simulator, including assisting with fault diagnosis and problem solving.

Qualifikationen
- Passion for driving simulators, programming and research.
- Master/Diploma in Computer Science, EE-Engineering, Telematics or equivalent.
- Understanding of 3D Authoring tools, 3D Graphics and VR (Virtual Reality).
- Ability to work independently and interactively with multiple people and across domains.
- Motivation to learn new things.
Erfahrung
- Programming experience with Python, Java, C/++, MATLAB/Simulink.
- Experience with driving simulation software (e.g., SCANeR, Vi-Grade Vi-Sim, OpenDS).
