- The postdoctoral researcher will be expected to contribute to several of the following areas, with the balance shaped by interests and strengths:
- Collaborative code development and data analysis based on computational models and tools.
- Publish high-impact scientific papers.
- Supervise PhD researchers and MA students.
- Present research at international conferences.
- Collaborate with other research groups.
- Contribute to academic teaching.
- Support the research group in preparing applications for third-party funding.
- Communication of research results in stakeholder dialogues with industry actors and policymakers.
- Comply with the institution's academic standards and ethical guidelines.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- A completed PhD in a relevant discipline using computational methods.
- Excellent analytical skills, sharp thinking and interest in applied modelling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (level C1).
Erfahrung
- Required: Demonstrated programming experience (knowledge of Python or R would be ideal).
- Even better: Experience with computational modelling or research software development.
- Ideally (but not required): Experience with energy systems analysis, scenario modelling, material flow analysis or integrated assessment modelling.
- Demonstrated experience in publishing and presenting scientific work.
