- Do you enjoy designing complex systems that bring hardware and software seamlessly together?
- We are looking for a System Architect to define, oversee, and validate the architecture of our embedded systems.
- In this role, you will translate product requirements into technical specifications, ensure integration across disciplines, and guide the team to deliver robust, scalable, and reliable solutions for our award-winning smart glasses.
- Define detailed specifications for embedded systems, covering product design, electronic architecture, and application-specific solutions.
- Align system design with business objectives by collaborating closely with project managers, product managers, research leads, and technical stakeholders.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and architectural decisions clearly to the product development team.
- Ensure technical designs, processes, and testing results are thoroughly documented.
- Oversee testing and validation of embedded systems to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.

Qualifikationen
- Ability to define both functional (what it does) and non-functional (performance, security, power consumption) requirements for the system.
- Strong understanding of how hardware, software, and user interfaces interact to meet product goals.
- Knowledge of requirements management tools.
- Deep understanding of embedded system architecture (microcontrollers, FPGAs, GPUs, sensors, and peripherals).
- Expertise in software engineering and hardware-software co-design.
- Familiarity with system integration and debugging tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across diverse teams.
Erfahrung
- Proven experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including hardware, software, and product development managers.
- Experience designing robust and reliable system architectures for embedded devices, often operating in critical environments.
- 5+ years of professional experience in product development for embedded systems or high-volume products.
