- Your job as a Cloud engineer is implementing, automating and maintaining reporting tools, and consulting engineers in R&D on their own initiatives to optimize cloud costs.
- Create forecasts for cloud services together with engineers.
- Consult on basic design choices for cloud services with a focus on cost an efficiency.
- Keep track of ongoing cloud cost optimization initiatives.
- Analysis of billing data.
- Independent design, implementation, and maintenance of reporting.
- Tools and automations with the Dynatrace Platform (Dashboards, Notebooks & Workflows) and in our cloud accounts.

Qualifikationen
- Good communicator / not afraid to start discussions.
- Technical knowledge of [software | product] development processes and tools, cloud services, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Creating queries/ scripts (willing to learn DQL, know Python, JS/ TS, ideally Java).
- Basic technical knowledge of at least one of the cloud providers AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Thinking beyond a technical solution – weighing cost vs benefit.
- Knowing how cloud resources/ costs can affect a business.
