- Designing and implementing of new secure embedded firmware applications in C.
- Preparing source code documentation.
- Preparing, presenting, and participating in technical discussions and code reviews.
- Analyzing and evaluating software requirements; collaborating with colleagues and customers to gather and define product requirements.
- Assisting in product design and architecture development.
- Proactively providing status, raising issues, and communicating necessary information to appropriate team members on a regular basis.
- Developing test fixtures in C and higher-level Object-Oriented language (e.g. C# or Python).
- Supporting in the design and development of auxiliary desktop engineering tools.

Qualifikationen
- Excellent programming and debugging skills in the C programming language.
- Familiarity with source code management, bug tracking, project planning, and continuous integration tools.
- Assembly language knowledge.
- Any higher-level language knowledge (e.g. C# or Python).
- Embedded RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.).
- Proficiency in communication protocols (I2C, SPI, ISO7816/14443, NFC, BLE, etc.).
- Applied cryptography knowledge.
Erfahrung
- 3+ years of software development with experience in embedded microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M, RISC-V, etc.).
- Experience with secure elements.
