Deine Rolle im Team
- As the team lead for our VSO team (Virtualization Stack Operations), you will take on the technical and organizational leadership of an 8-member expert team.
- You will be responsible for the stable operation and continuous development of our KVM-based virtualization platform - both strategically and operationally.
- Management, further development and motivation of the team, organization of task distribution, capacity planning and know-how transfer.
- Ensuring the reliable operation of our hypervisors.
- Responsibility for the configuration and optimization of monitoring as well as for the analysis and rectification of technical faults.
- Monitoring of system utilization, identification of bottlenecks and early scaling measures.
- Organization of provisioning, maintenance and deprovisioning of hosts as well as planning and coordination of hardware replacements in our worldwide data centers.
- Ensuring timely processing of support tickets and adherence to Service Level Agreements.
- You work closely with the development departments, which provide tools, automation, and hypervisor technologies.
- Cooperation with related operational departments (e.g. Windows, Linux, network, logistics) and active involvement in cross-team collaboration.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- Solid knowledge of Linux-based infrastructures, hypervisor technologies, and monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or PRTG).
- High level of personal responsibility, hands-on mentality, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty.
Erfahrung
- Several years of experience in operating and troubleshooting complex virtualization environments (ideally KVM and/or VMware).
- Experience in leading or overseeing technical teams.
- Experience in incident, problem, and change management.
