- You will get the chance to architect, build, and refine the core software infrastructure that underpins our entire AI model development lifecycle.
- Shape our core AI Development Framework/SDK: Design and implement robust, scalable, and intuitive Python-based libraries and tools that our ML teams and customers will use every day to create industry-changing Physics AI surrogate models.
- Mastermind Data Integration & Management: Tackle complex challenges in seamlessly integrating diverse datasets.
- Pioneer our Future AI Model Training Platform: Spearhead the development of an internal platform aimed at simplifying and accelerating model training.
- Champion Developer Experience (DevX): Be the driving force for an exceptional internal developer experience.
- Enable Velocity: You understand that in a startup, speed is a critical differentiator. Your contributions will be pivotal in ensuring our research and development cycles are as short and impactful as possible.

Qualifikationen
- You possess a strong and diverse set of software engineering skills, including expertise in languages like Python, a deep understanding of system design, API development, Git, Clean Code principles, continuous integration/delivery, robust testing methodologies, and you're comfortable navigating Linux environments.
- You're passionate about empowering your colleagues. You thrive on understanding the needs of developers and ML researchers, translating those needs into powerful software solutions.
- Youve a very good understanding of AI models, their life-cycle, and how software supports the creation, training, adaption, evaluation, tuning, and deployment of those models.
- You understand that exceptional tools are crucial for speed and innovation. Youre motivated to build the infrastructure that enables our AI teams to leverage large-scale compute resources effectively and iterate rapidly.
- You are especially excited about at least some of the following topics:
- Designing, building, and evolving world-class developer tools, SDKs, and internal & public AI frameworks that engineers love to use.
- Architecting and implementing robust data integration solutions and internal data management systems that form the backbone of our AI pipeline.
- Creating foundational software that directly accelerates AI research and development velocity, enabling Emmi AI to define the future of AI in engineering.
