Senior Data Scientist in Controlling/Performance Management (all genders)

1. Collaborate with the various Controlling teams and other functions (e.g. Accounting, Risk and IT) to gather business requirements, define analytical objectives and drive respective initiatives.
2. Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract insights from large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
3. Employ statistical methods to analyze financial and operational data, such as variance analysis and regression analysis.
4. Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate potential outcomes and identify key drivers of financial performance.
5. Design and implement advanced financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
6. Develop predictive forecasting models to anticipate future financial performance and develop benchmarking analysis.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and apply innovative techniques to solve complex controlling challenges.
8. Foster knowhow transfer across all divisions and locations to enable realization of synergies with OMV Group and actively seek external perspective.
