    Deine Rolle im Team

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Administrator with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis system administration to ensure the optimal performance, stability, and reliability of our SAP landscape.
    • Manage and maintain SAP systems to ensure high availability and performance, including system optimization, upgrades, patches, and transport management.
    • Continuously monitor systems, interfaces, and scheduled jobs, proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensure timely execution of critical batch jobs, and oversee alert management.
    • Oversee database administration, backup and recovery processes, and infrastructure operations across environments including DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, and HANA.
    • Apply best practices in network design, security, virtualization, and infrastructure optimization to maintain a secure and efficient SAP environment.
    • Support S/4HANA migration projects from planning through go-live, including technical migrations, data transfer coordination, and post-migration optimization.
    • Utilize migration tools and methodologies while addressing associated technical challenges throughout the transformation process.
    • Monitor and manage SAP security to ensure compliance and protection against unauthorized access.
    • Use SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) to support change management processes and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders in global teams to continuously optimize SAP performance.

    Qualifikationen

    • Comprehensive understanding of SAP system architecture, administration, and operations.
    • Proficiency in Unix and Windows operating systems.
    • Solid knowledge of database administration principles and best practices.
    • In-depth knowledge of SAP tools such as SAP NetWeaver, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP HANA Studio.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
    • Understanding of hybrid cloud and on-premise integration scenarios.
    • Proficiency with backup and recovery tools and workflows to keep business operations running.
    • Skills in performance tuning and optimization of SAP systems.
    • Proficiency in network security principles and protocols.
    • Skilled in analyzing issues and finding effective solutions for complex system problems.
    • Forward-looking approach to identifying and reducing risks.
    • Well-developed communication and relationship-building skills, paired with the ability to work effectively across global teams.
    • ABAP programming knowledge is a welcome addition.

    Erfahrung

    • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in SAP Basis system administration.
    • Experience with DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, HANA, and other relevant databases.
    • Experience with S/4 HANA systems is a plus.
    • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
    • Experience of collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing relationships with external providers.

    • In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this position is € 65.000 gross per year (May 2025).
    • There is a clear willingness to offer compensation above the collectively agreed minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
