Deine Rolle im Team
- Our customer is a Legal-tech B2B SaaS company that can protect any product on the internet (Remove.tech).
- Remove.tech grew from 0 to 1.2M in ARR within 3 years and is a bootstrapped remote first company founded in Vienna, Austria.
- The founders are looking for an ambitious Sr. Engineer who takes ownership of the technical side of the product.
- Own and evolve core backend services (crawler, data collection, AI services, user services).
- Design for scalability, maintainability, and robustness.
- Shape and challenge the existing architecture (C#/.NET services with a Node.js layer).
- Build and launch standards for code quality, testing, monitoring, and alerting.
- Translate complex product and AI requirements into reliable backend solutions.
- Work hands-on with .NET/C#, Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, React/TypeScript.
- Act as technical backbone for external developers and future engineering hires.
- Collaborate closely with founders, product, and customers.
- Contribute to hiring by defining technical expectations and evaluating candidates.

Qualifikationen
- Fluent in a typed backend language (ideally C#/.NET).
- Comfortable working with Node.js as integration or service layer.
- End-to-end mindset: architecture, implementation, testing, monitoring.
- High code quality standards and documentation discipline.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on attitude with a desire to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Desire to work in fast-paced scale-up and passion to work with digital products and services.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable technical strategies and operational plans.
- Curiosity for AI-driven products and data-heavy systems.
- Strong ownership mentality and bias for execution.
- English required; German is a plus.
Erfahrung
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and messaging systems.
- Experience in product-driven startups or scale-ups.
- Proven experience in customer centric and agile environments.
