Deine Rolle im Team
- Design and manage DB2 LUW servers.
- Build and operate a high-availability DB2 LUW environment, including pureScale.
- Use and manage standard DB2 Data Movement Utilities.
- Create and maintain DB2 database objects.
- Monitor and optimize SQL performance, especially for Java JDBC applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database and performance issues.
- Implement and manage DB2 security features to protect sensitive data.
- Support backup and recovery operations and strategies.
- Collaborate with other teams to support the database lifecycle in development, test and production environments.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- Solid basic Unix/Linux knowledge, especially RHEL Enterprise Linux.
- Skilled in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with DB2 utilities for maintenance and administration.
- Understanding of DB2 security mechanisms.
- Proficiency in backup and restore methodologies.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties after onboarding.
- An Upper-Intermediate level of English.
- German at native level.
Erfahrung
- Extensive experience with DB2 LUW versions 10.1, 10.5, and 11.5.
- Hands-on experience with DB2 in high-availability environments (e.g., pureScale).
- Experience with tools typically found in DB2 environments.
