Deine Rolle im Team
- Taking ownership of our databases: production, UAT, QA and development systems.
- Conduct regular health checks and performance tuning: looking at query execution, indexing, locking/blocking, partitioning.
- Working with the team to maintain and improve high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and support teams to improve database-application interaction.
- Manage data migrations and integrations across environments.
- Setting up and improving CI/CD for database components, where relevant.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
- Strong skills in T-SQL, query execution plans, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with HA/DR configurations (e.g., Always On, replication, clustering).
- Bonus if you've worked with other database technologies (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch or similar) or used Jira/Confluence in an agile team.
Erfahrung
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server in production or enterprise/SaaS-style environments.
- Experience with performance tools/techniques: DMVs, Extended Events, Query Store.
