- You manage and lead the hardware engineering team, setting clear objectives and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- You drive the development of next-generation smart home hardware products with focus on mechanical engineering.
- You collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the hardware product strategy.
- You oversee the quality assurance and testing processes to ensure products meet high standards of reliability, safety, and performance.
- You collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and manufacturers to source components and services necessary for hardware development.
- You manage the hardware engineering budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
- You ensure that all hardware products meet relevant industry standards, certifications, and compliance requirements.

Qualifikationen
- You have a proven track record of leading teams with more than 5 employees, ideally in a fast-growing company.
- You are experienced in the development and industrialization of mechanical mass-production products.
- You have worked with partners for the production of plastic and/or metal parts.
- You are familiar with structured development and product release processes.
- You have the willingness to take on responsibility, go the extra mile, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You have a high level of proficiency in English and German and can communicate in both languages in a business context.
- You demonstrate flexibility in your thinking and actions and continuously strive for improvement.
Erfahrung
- You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position and hold a completed higher technical education (university/university of applied sciences, etc.).
