SAP Teamlead

As part of our Finance Division, you will lead the SAP team. You will act as a strategic partner to the Head of Finance as well as the Head of Digitalization and take on projects to further develop digital solutions for the financial management of the Institute. You will support the decision process and operational implementation of strategic measures and projects such as:

• Develop an end-to-end architecture for date warehouse in SAP or any other software solution such as snowflake, Amazon Redshift, etc.
• Creating a comprehensive BI plan aligning with organizational and digitalization goals
• Utilizing BI tools such as SAP SAC, PowerBI, or other for effective budgeting and decision-making
• Lead the transformation of SAP ERP to S/4HANA
• Optimization and automation of business processes like implementation of automated booking tools
• Coordinate with digitalization team (Operational Excellence, Process Management and PMO) to develop end-to-end processes which include, but are not limited to, Finance, Grant Office and Human Resources
• Apart from projects like these you are leading and developing the SAP Team - currently up to three members
• You also act as a contact person for internal and external stakeholders including the SAP provider, the Bundesrechenzentrum GmbH
